What is a PR consultant and why might you consider hiring one?
PR consultants, or public relations consultants, are standalone providers of services related to marketing and communications. They differ from other resources like agencies because they work on their own generally. They can be a great fit for, say, a smaller business that may not need the services of an entire team like that of a public relations agency.
Also, a public relations consultant often doesn’t require you to sign a long-term contract. They sometimes work on a project basis, so they can be a little bit more flexible and sometimes just be a better fit for your needs if you’re looking for public relations assistance.
