What is a PR consultant and why might you consider hiring one?
A PR consultant, sometimes also known as a public relations consultant or freelance PR consultant, is a standalone provider of services related to marketing and communications. They differ from resources like agencies in that they generally work on their own. They can be a great alternative for, say, a smaller business that may not need the services of an entire team like that of a public relations agency.
Also, a public relations consultant often doesn’t require you to sign a long-term contract. They sometimes work on a project basis, so they can be a little bit more flexible and sometimes just be a better fit for your needs if you’re looking for public relations assistance.
